Tuesday 2nd September – 26th meeting of 2014
After a lovely warm and sunny summer break our group we met up to decide and plan our adventures for the coming weeks! The Greyhound pub in Bromley was our preferred local meeting venue for a civilised breakfast meeting!
Just six of us today as holidays and grandparent duties were still ongoing. After much much chatter about what we had all been doing over August that included holidays, decorating, family visits and the wonderful news that one lady had become a grandmother for the first time to a beautiful little baby boy, we got down to business.
There was much deliberation on things to do and I must add that we are all pretty full of ideas that it makes me sure we will never run out of places to go and things to do. Among the list we plan a visit to poppies in Tower of London moat, some walks from the London walking book, Olympic Park, Brompton Cemetery to name a few. As usual we give a date for each event but as we know from experience it is all likely to change as we go through week by week.
It was lovely to meet up again and start our outings and I for one miss the ladies when we don’t meet but there is so much to catch up when we do.
After another tea we went our separate ways home. Some made use of the time and did some shopping and some just went straight home after a very pleasant breakfast meeting!
